SMARTY+ finds its motivation in the need to create an improvement in orientation actions, enabling the agencies involved, and those who wish to use the tools produced, to make a quality leap in the service offered to migrants.
In the course of their training, adult migrants manifest specific needs, which require tailor-made orientation responses based on a specialized and continuous knowledge of the evolution of the adult competence system. <more>

These experiences encompass a spectrum, ranging from exposure to violence and abuse to environmental factors like household instability or substance abuse. The impact of ACEs on a child’s mental health is profound, potentially leading to conditions like PTSD, anxiety, and depression. <more>

Our project objectives focus on equipping citizens with the knowledge and skills needed to provide effective support to disaster survivors while promoting empathy, self-care, and community resilience and raising awareness about the possible traumatization of natural disaster victims. It will develop modular training resources which provide comprehensive guidance and support to family and neighbours as helpers, enabling them to assist natural disaster victims with empathy, cultural sensitivity, and a better understanding of their mental health. <more>
