How does the SMARTY app work?
Completing the SMARTY app is just the beginning – it serves as a starting point, helping professionals and adult learners identify key competence gaps and work together toward further skills development. Here is how: Step 1: Adult learners complete activities inside the app—choosing one competence area or exploring them all.Step 2: Professionals review the results, identifying strengths and areas for improvement.Step 3: Together, professionals and learners discuss the results, plan next steps, and co-design learners’ professional and personal pathways. #SMARTY #migrants #app #ErasmusPlus #keycompetences #assessment

Exciting updates from the SMARTY project
This week, our partners met online to plan the next steps. So far, we have designed the first version of the SMARTY app and completed internal testing to refine its features and fix any bugs. Next up? Translating the app into German, Italian, and Swedish, and training the professionals on how to use the app effectively. When to use the SMARTY app?
The app refers to a new digital tool designed to facilitate the assessment of skills and knowledge of adult migrants throughout the orientation process. It will support adult education practitioners at different moments of the orientation cycle: ✅At the beginning, to get first insights into adults’ strengths and areas for further development. ✅During the process to track progress in different competence areas. ✅At the end, to compare initial and final results and plan further steps, such as finding a job or a new training course.
