Have you heard of transversal skills? These are knowledge, skills, and competences that are relevant across different work and learning contexts. In other words, they are not tied to a single occupation or job but represent basic skills every individual needs for personal and professional development.
In the SMARTY project, we focus on four of these skills: communication and negotiation, team working, creativity, and critical thinking and problem solving. With the newest SMARTY app, professionals can assess these skills among adult migrants through different games and simulations. This approach provides a clearer picture of each person’s abilities and helps deliver tailored guidance to support their integration.
